in this catalog are manufactured in accordance with certain well-recognized standards.

ANSI American National Standards Institute – organization that oversees the development of
standards that directly impact businesses, accredit programs that assess conformance
to standards. Works together with other groups, i.e. ASME, ASTM, ISO, etc.

ASTM American Society for Testing of Materials – international standards organization that
develops by consensus and publishes technical standards for a wide range of materials,
products, systems, and services.

FM Factory Mutual – develops standards and certifies products or services confirming to
the highest national and international standards.

IAPMO International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials –develop and adapt
plumbing and mechanical codes, tests and qualifies products for comprehensive
plumbing and mechanical systems around the world.

UL Underwriters Laboratories – product safety testing and certification organization for CE
public safety.

AW WA American Water Works Association – trade association for the drinking water industry

Canadian Standards Association –develops standards, tests and certifies products
CSA meeting recognized standards for safety and performance in gas lines and gas appliance RTIFICATION & A
installations.

The National Fire Protection Association – Leading information and knowledge resource
NFPA on fire, electrical and other related hazards.

Mechanical Standardization Society of the Valve and Fittings Industry, Inc. – organization
MS S for development and improvement of industry codes and standards for valves and
fittings. PPROVA

IS O International Standard Organization – standards coordinating organization and developer
of ISO-9000 through ISO-9004 standards. Provides internationally recognized certification
for manufacturers that comply with high standards of quality control. LS

ASME American Society of Mechanical Engineers – engineering body focused on mechanical
engineering, develops codes and standards for mechanical devices.

AS SE American Society of Sanitary Engineering – safety organization that coordinates,
supervise and consult on safety, health and environmental issues in industry, insurance,
government and education.
